So I finally decided to start my own website. Yes, copycat says he, but with suggestions from a couple of friends and absolute strangers, it seemed like a good idea to actually put my literature up for viewing and hopefully, I'll recieve some feedback from many other sources.
The first time I got the idea for the website was when a woman approached me at a Poetry festival back in June and told me that my poetry was something to be admired and she wished to see more. Of course, since we're all going technical, my work isn't going to be seen sitting in a box on my bedroom floor, now is it?
My wish is that I do get feedback.. I hope to become established as a writer. Even if it were only by a small crowd, that would be huge for me!
I will appreciate comments with opinions, tips and suggestions but any negative inputs will be removed from the page. That's more for my own sake. Thanks :)
Of course, it's going to take a while to get the page properly going, but once I get settled, there shouldn't be too much messing around.
I'd like to thank Liam Roddy for the encouragement that pushed me to believe in myself and just go ahead and post my poetry. I should say thanks to Thomas Sutton, for helping me to regain my faith toward the internet.. I had almost given up.. And to Miss McArt, my English teacher, whom has been working me really hard to ensure I reach my full potential (I havn't got there yet, but I'm on my way!) Other than that, to everyone who puts in their best efforts to support me on a daily basis - Thank you! Please, never stop!
I will post whatever I consider suitable... We'll see how far that gets! Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.. Loads to come!
